On another track, I think it was cool that they brought Boba Fett back in the Mandalorian. You know, thinking about his death scene in Episode 6, or what we thought was his death, you could still show the whole Sarlaac thing, just block out the screaming and the burp scene, and it would be ok, it would work. Of course Boba Fett escapes at some point. Still looks odd with the black outfit underneath instead of the grey. The story from Tales From Jabba's Palace back in the 90s that described his escape works as good as any, which is basically the same story everyone pretty much came up with on their own.

I just recently finished watching The Clone Wars animated series and started "The Lost Missions."
I was surprised at how good it all ended up being! I've read that Rebels is okay, but never reaches the heights in quality like clone Wars did.

I don't know, escaping the sarlacc, his former employers killed off, making his way during the chaos of the crumbling and shattered Empire, the guy doesn't care all that much about matching duds, perhaps he roughed it in Tatooine for awhile, turned him into a bit of a barbarian so to speak, the black robes and Tusken raider gaffi stick.

Yeah I know he's not too concerned about the classic ensemble and he's just going to put the armor over whatever he was wearing at the time. Still looks odd though

Boba Fett did far more in the short time he was on The Mandolorian than he did in the movie series, and he wasn't nearly as inept. Besides looking cool and transporting Han's frozen body to Jabba, he appeared to be fairly useless in the original trilogy. I'm glad they decided to revisit the character and show what a badass he really is.

Perhaps Boba Fett might do the whole classic look in some new spin off series. Jon Favreau, executive producer of The Mandalorian, has said something about 'The Book Of Boba Fett', touted for December of this year. Temuera Morrison will be attached to the project in the lead role.

Ming Na Wen will be in that show, as teased in the stinger at the end of Mand S2.

I also read "tales from jabba's palace" with its Boba Fett story. There was something I thought was cool, which was Boba Fett trapped in Sarlacc with ghosts of other victims and other beings slowly digesting. He escaped by getting his rocketpack to launch and self destruct.

I think there was some thought right after S2 ended it would be the name of S3. But then it was semi-'clarified' they will be two separate shows, though exactly when they will air wasn't clear. Since nothing's been shot yet, it all could change!

There is some speculation amongst some Star Wars fans on whether Boba Fett ( by extension of Jango Fett ) was a Mandalorian or not. I can't see the controversy, perhaps Jango Fett was adopted by Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Civil War, later taking up the Mandalorian style armour, or maybe the people of Concord Dawn were genetically akin to the Mandalorians since it inhabits the Mandalore sector. Jeremy Bulloch was the guy in the Boba Fett costume for Episodes V and VI. Interestingly enough he also played the imperial officer Sheckil I think fandom is also split by those who prefer Jason Wingreen voicing Boba Fett and those that side with Temuera Morrison's take. Myself, I think both takes work.

I have actually never seen a single Star Wars movie. I guess it just never appealed to me.
