I'm very pleased to announce that Adventure Pulp LLC has just signed an agreement with Oasis Audio to do the works of A. Merritt as audiobooks, under their Paperback Classics Imprint! Other authors in their library include Edgar Rice Burroughs and Otis Adelbert Kline, so Merritt is in good company! The first titles should be available this Fall. Hell yeah! That's Awesome!

Excellent news, the world needs more pulp audio books. I'm impressed with the production values on Carson of Venus: The Edge of All Worlds audio book from Oasis.

Hey everyone,
A couple of days ago I finished reading the Moon Pool from a collection called the A Merritt Megapack from Wildside Press. I really enjoyed the story and I searched the blogosphere for any discussions or reviews on the Moon Pool, I discovered that the Project Gutenberg is unreliable when it comes to reading of Merritt texts and the Megapack version is taken from there. Should I buy the Nebraska or Atlus Press version of the Moon Pool to get the complete experience even though I finished the Gutenberg version of the story?

I’d go ahead and splurge on the regular book editions if you enjoyed the magazines. I think the Nebraskas are a good choice.

I am currently reading the Metal Monster from the original Argosy version on the net, so I think I am good there. The Moon Pool is still fresh on my mind but I'll the Nebraska version to my collection at some point. Thanks johnnypt.
