This is probably the last omnibus that'd interest me. Unless DH publish a Truman/Giorello King Conan Omnibus.

They may have to do an Iron shadows Kozaki omnibus. That would probably be combined with road of kings but honestly I'd still get that. It's better than the queen of the black coast omnibus that would come afterwards. I'd get the conan the avenger omnibus too.

I'll probably see how I feel at the time. But, I will not be picking up the QOBC and Avenger Omnibus volumes.

Iron Shadows in the Moon was one of the best adaptations ever made by Truman/Giorello. It stands right there beside the King Conan series. Many great splash pages, good coloring and a fast, engaging narrative. This story marks a period when Truman and Giorello had just hit their stride. I recommend it. I still ponder and get bothered by the fact that right after this arch Road of Kings came in place. I don't understand why change a team that was doing so well. Sales were great too. Coincidence or not, from Road of Kings on, it was all downhill in the main series. Very bad editorial decision in my opinion to substitute the whole thing by that time.

Yeah, I hope they notice that soon. Been in touch with both Phillip Simon and DH through FB so they are aware now. Terry

It not only moved the narrative back towards what was there before Road but it also in some ways improved it (Natala is far more of a character, one of the weaker elements of Busiek's run is salvaged and made cooler) and hell the Witch adaptation is up there with the savage sword one in brilliance.

I think they wanted to do the King Conan stories. Truman had other projects so I can understand just having him do King Conan. The misstep was bringing in Brian Wood, but even that could have been salvaged if he a.) read more of Conan b.) read the original series. His queen run didn't just disrespect Howard. It disrespected Busiek and Truman.

Picked this up today.
Just finished the Hand of Nergal adaptation - I like these collections, they're pretty good. I'm even considering the next one, that's if there is one, can't tell these days with Dark Horse.
