That's a great drawing by KingOvRats! I know there's always been questions about how much of Almuric REH actually wrote but assuming at least some of it came from REH it might be worth a read for inspiration on crafting a story based on Yag, aside from REH's portion of "The Challenge From Beyond" I think Almuric is his only tale set on an alien planet. Here's my take on one of the evil Kings of Yag, I think they still rule that accursed world to this very day

Good points for anyone willing to try a Yag story! I guess one day I'll try to write one just for the sake of sharing something fun and weird and relevant (in only the slightest way) with this forum. XP
I remember that particular picture, and it's one of my favorites from you! My own vision of those devil-kings of Yag was something almost along the lines of Cthulhu or Jabba the Hutt. These big, huge, fat, round, squishy things with elephantine heads, and with such immense telepathic and telekinetic power that they no longer needed to lift their asses off their seats to do whatever they want. Yours is cool just for how much more sinister and esoteric he looks though.

I've considered drawing some Yaggites with a more bloated appearance but I wanted to avoid looking too similar to Chaugnar Faugn (Cthulhu mythos fans unfamiliar with REH tend to assume it's supposed to be Chaugnar Faugn anyway

In the Age of Conan expantion "Rise of the Godslayer" they add a special rid based upon "The Tower of the Elephant" called "Enigmata of Yag" and you invade an alien like part of the world (unable to provide more information as I havent reach the proper level to do the raid)
