It is. Emmanuel Roudier is a pretty good game designer (and artist as well, as we can see from his work here and on the French Barbarians of Lemuria books).

That looks damn cool, I'd drop in some Lovecraftian Old Ones and Serpent men to hit the sweet spot.

I know the feeling, the general uncertainty of the Age of Corona (not to be confused with the previous Age of Corona circa 1991 which was all about beer and lime wedges) has made time management weird. I had planned on producing alot of prose while working from home, bit no such thing has happened. Part of it may be that due to the need for proximity to the wifi, the wife and I share the den as a home office. She keeps me on task, there's also 1-3 Microsoft Teams meetings that pop up during the day that keep my attention. Also Magnum comes on at three. Aside from those distractions, there is something about this whole covid 19 atmosphere is screwing me over.

I have the urge to write something that recaptures the way I felt the first time I read Beyond the Black River. I made a few weak attempts at it before.

Nice! Imagine this guy going up against the soldier, weird war indeed! That's not implausible given the source material. In the comic adaption of Sailor on the Seas of Fate, P. Craig Russell added some WWI and II soldiers to Elric's landing party.

Now the question becomes whether or not that M-16 is in actuality his reality's version of Stormbringer.
