Any news on the new publishing program? Been a while since I heard anything . . . I’ve heard nothing more thus far, but I don’t have any real connections like some folks out there. This is some of the most exciting news for me, personally, as I’m more interested in further written adventures rather than movies or comics. Anyone?

Bob goes by the user name sherlock on the forum here, but he hasn't logged in since March.

(Turning on my inner pedant)
Actually, her name is Laurie Blum Guest. Here's a bit of her bio, courtesy Mariposa Press:
Laurie Blum Guest had previously worked in New York with Simon and Schuster, Harper Collins, and Henry Holt. She also created her own series of books with 63 titles which sold several million copies and has been a frequent guest commentator on CNN television.
After a stint working with a major British publishing house she took over Mariposa Press. Mme Guest has been a featured speaker with the French publisher's association ( BIEF), has received support from the American Embassy in Paris, as well as has been featured and profiled in numerous publications including Le Figaro Littéraire.
This is good news and very exciting!

Thanks for the clarification Scott, and apologies for the inaccuracy in my transcript.
You can see the original here commencing from 13.00.

Exciting, and I know it’s early, but... 12-15 a year? Isn’t that crazy fast?
I’m all for more Conan as opposed to less, but want quality Conan. And the Tor pastiches definitely spit out some crap, probably b/c there was a drive to put out more product.
Thoughts?

My impression is that this isn't just Conan centric but REH centric, so many of his top characters will likely be in the line-up, Cormac (both Mac Art and Fitzgeoffrey), Turlough, Kane, Kull, El Borak to name a few. There weren't very many non Conan pastiches out there in the past, KEW's Legion of the Shadows probably being the most notable.

I was under the impression that some of the books would be re-prints of older material, but from what sources I cannot say.

I think it's safe to say this, as it's not any sort of secret: I've been invited to pitch a book proposal to the new publishers. I'm going with an Hyborian Age tale that features a minor character from "Black Colossus" . . . we'll see how they respond to it.
Wish me luck!

Congratulations Scott, I had a hunch your name would be on the initial list for consideration.
