Agreed! Always was a cool slightly oriental vibe to Mignola's interpretation of the twain.
Wonder Woman in Nehwon? Now that's a surprise!

EDIT: Talking about the Frazetta painting on the previous page. Ol' Quickdraw Kail got the Jones pic up too quick. IMO, that is a highly underappreciated painting. Great composition and dynamism. Not as polished as Frank's later work, but powerful.

There has been a feast of goodies on offer this week for REH fans at The Golden Age with art by Jones, Kaluta, Frazetta, Kelly and others. ...... Door Tree might as well call his site, "The Gold Mine".

I was born in Hyrkania, Cut my teeth on raw steel. My family died, bloody, 'Neath a murderer's heel!
What the dog stole from me Can ne'er be regained. But not for my red locks alone Am I named ...
Blood red is the vengeance I've wreaked until now. No blade shall best Sonja's, This do I vow!
I can out-fight, out-drink, And out-swear any man – Including that arrogant ass, CONAN!
So step up, bold warriors, When Red Sonja calls – And match steel against steel, If you've got the balls! ...... A New Song Of Sonja • Art & poem by Wendy Pini • SSoC #23Thanks for that poem, Kail. ---- "I can out-fight, out-drink, And out-swear any man – Including that arrogant ass, CONAN! " =[ that verse made me LOL. Ha! My money bet would always be on mighty Conan. Sonja is the mega-arrogant pretty ass. ]
