I mostly know him from his mid-70s run on Green Lantern when he took over from Neal Adams and proved himself a more than adequate replacement. Even better was his short run on Aquaman around about the same time. I really must try and read some of his later stuff.

Starslayer and Jon Sable, Freelance (see my last post) were both excellent.
...... Conan • Art by Colin MacNeil • (Marvel Comics)
I always really liked MacNeil. He needs to do more Conan work. He is definitely better than just about any other artist who's worked on DHC Conan in the last 5yrs.
Ka-Zar didn't hit its stride until Moench and Mayerik showed up. Then Marvel cancelled it.
I couldn't stand the Bruce Jones version, just like I couldn't stand his Red Sonja, his Conan or his Warlord. The man can't write anything resembling sword and sorcery.
Marshall Rogers rare art of Solomon Kane -- that I don't think ever saw print in the USA -- from TITANS #34 centerspread of the the Marvel UK reprint weekly. Not sure why, but that series was printed sideways (landscape), so the rare new material in it like this pin-up was panoramic.
David Wenzel drew several Solomon Kane stories in the SSOC. He did a sketch some years later -- after his style changed and he adapted J.R.R. Tolkein's THE HOBBIT with writer Chuck Dixon.
Of the non-Conan REH comics adaptions, I think Tim Conrad's art & coloring was a big part of why ALMURIC was so good! It made getting those issues of EPIC ILLUSTRATED worth it.
