That's an excellent glossary Deuce, not only for REH fans but perhaps also for anyone writing a pulp style desert adventure. Great pics too.
I used asper, kindjhal, khilat and spahi from REH's desert adventures in my old Nestor synopsis fanfic if I recall, and added gorilka at your suggestion.
Thanks for the additional material Hun.

Here's another one for the glossary from the Red Blades of Black Cathay:
The tugh, the yak-tail standards, were lifted above them. At the sight of their orderly array and hard-bitten appearance, Godric’s heart sank.
Tugh - Tuğ in Turkish and Sülde in Mongolian. A Horse or yak tail banner/standard of the Turco-Mongol peoples.

Glad you're diggin' it, VK. Now with Hun's suggestions, I need to get around to editing that stuff in.

Here's a glossary, with hyperlinks, for the tales of Talbot Mundy: freeread.com.au/@rglibrary/TalbotMundy/Bibliography/TM-Glossary.htmlSince it's for all of Mundy's stuff, including his tales of Tros set during the Roman Empire, you'll find Latin terms and whatnot as well. However, the majority of the glossed terms relate to India and the Middle East. REH was a big fan of Mundy, so you can bet he got a lot of his exotic terms from Talbot's stories.
