This is very sad news for me , as a 11 year old I was astounded by Steve's work when I first picked up his issues of Spider-man and Strange Tales , so visually stunning.

I mostly appreciated his art through Spiderman and Doctor Strange. One of the most unique and iconic visual storytellers in comic book history.

There were rumors earlier this week something had happened, just no confirmation until now. I work over near W 51st St, I may have to walk over to pay respects.

Ditko's Dr. Strange art was some of the first work of his I saw, thanks to a Marvel reprint paperback bought for me by the same grandma who bought me my first Conan comic. Mind-blowing stuff.

Thanks for the link to the Stan Lee tribute Aggro.
Deuce: the way he drew the dimensional stuff for Doc Strange you could almost believe he (Steve Ditko) truly had traveled through astral planes and experienced strange phenomena.
