sorry if I dont get all these titles exactly correct...the alzheimers is kicking in hard The Snout in the Dark...Howard and Carter for some reason I really liked this one. Its a shame Howard didnt complete it but Carter did ok...of course Howard left behind an outline for the bits ol two gun didnt get to. I loved the names Howard used and Conan was so majestic. Howard did most of it.
I pasted together Howard's parts and Carter's ending. Nice
Black Tears...DeCamp and Carter Conan barely survives a trek across the desert and then encounters pure evil One of the very best of the DeCamp and Carter projects IMO Drums of Tombalku...Howard and Decamp Great long tale, Howard did the vast majority of it. DeCamp finished it, following Howard's outline. It has some nice humorous touches and Conan gets to hang out with his pal Amalric whom I liked. I loved how Amalric described Conan...He was obviously in awe of our favorite barbarian warrior and quite scared of him as well. Conan gets a bit decadent here...good fun The Bloodstained God...Howard mostly, adapted for Conan by DeCamp I thought this adaptation from a Kirby O'Donnell story worked pretty well. A solid little tale and Conan was Conan. 95 percent of it is pure Howard...nothing wrong with that! Monster of the Monolith...DeCamp and Carter. Didn't much care for it the first time around. Read it again recently and found it better for some reason. A very decent tale IMO and a nasty monster that is pretty original. Good bad guy you will love to hate. If you run out of pure Howard Conan...give these a try. I found them all entertaining and a lot of good bloody fun!

Thanks. Those are my predilect ones, because they're the most faithful to REH.

Scott Oden's "shadow of vengeance" is one of the best pastiches out there. It really reads like it was written by REH.

Unfortunately - so far at least - this novella is only available as a 12 parts serial to Marvel Comics (SSOC The cult of Koga Thun , the suitor's revenge, Conan the gambler and Dark cavern, dark crystal). I've not been able to read his other Conan story "Unconquered" for a similar reason: not published outside the conan game of the same name.https://swordsofreh.proboards.com/threads/participated
