Unearthed Films are releasing a blu ray of the movie THE UNNAMEABLE. www.horrorhound.com/News/Details/209www.unearthedfilms.com/future.htmDirector/Producer/screenwriter Jean-Paul Ouellette told me that his idea for the movie was to make a short 20 minute adaptation of the original Lovecraft story as the beginning of the movie. So, you could pull that and have the story intact. After that it does become a monster on the loose story, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Even more I enjoyed THE UNNAMEABLE 2: The Statement of Randolph Carter, where the two main characters (Carter and Howard) of the series really come into their own. Ouellette was hoping to continue the series with Carter and Howard but it never panned out.

Today is Robert M. Price's birthday. He's done as much as any man living to promote and advance the Mythos. RMP's written some fine Mythos tales as well. He's also a huge fan of REH and sword & sorcery: www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/ea.cgi?10526
