That's a great article Deuce, and I'm glad to read that his Bard novels may be getting a digital release.

That's a great article Deuce, and I'm glad to read that his Bard novels may be getting a digital release. It's still a little iffy, but I have a (fairly justified) feeling that if this doesn't materialize, another publisher WILL take up the gauntlet.

Thanks Deuce, not familiar but will def be checking those out! Hey Rob! If nothing else, you should check out Bard IV: Ravens' Gathering: www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?8330A very cool early chapter takes place in the Wash. Your neck of the woods (or fens, as the case may be). Bard I is set in a broad swath from southeastern Kent through the Weald and on to Wessex. Great stuff!

Despite the (beautiful but) fairly sedate Maitz cover, Keith gets right down to business. Felimid is fighting a giant Jutish berserker who's ALSO a werewolf by what, page 3? Page 2, maybe?

Just finished reading Bard last night - fantastic! Very original style and hero, with elements of REH and Jack Vance. Will def be looking for more!
