I was wondering when are we finally going to see the reissue of this magnificent tale?
Moreover, are we going to be so lucky as to get a hardcover version? Or even better, a signed, or somehow limited edition version? That would be even more awesome!

Hey, thanks for the kind words, Xaltotun. Emerald Lotus, and it's time-lost follow-up, Conan and the Living Plague, forgotten on a dusty flash drive for 22 years, should both be available this spring.
No hardcovers or limited editions, though. Just your basic trade paperbacks.

I'am very eager to read your book, but unfortunately I've only been able to find copy's of it that are in just okay condition, and not at a reasonable price for the condition. So I'am very excited for the re-release of your book

Which is cool, except that I have no idea what it will look like yet.

I really hope it doesn't get one of those shitty cheap looking photoshopped type of covers seen on so many modern releases of fantasy and sci fi novels.

I really hope it doesn't get one of those shitty cheap looking photoshopped type of covers seen on so many modern releases of fantasy and sci fi novels. I deeply love the Ken Kelly cover for Emerald Lotus but it does kinda make me roll my eyes a wee little bit. It seethes with darkly lashing action and is basically beautiful, but what is it that shines forth in all the darkness? Well, that would be the woman's luminous hooters. Neesa, winner of the Most Coruscant Cupcakes in Corinthia Award. You gotta love her. I've pushed the importance of a strong cover to Perilous Worlds. It's tough to find something that can follow in the Cimmerian's mighty tradition of memorable cover art but I understand they're trying. It can't be easy on any artist to try to paint a cover for a Conan novel knowing with absolute certainty the very first thing that will happen is that he will be compared to the greatest fantasy artist of all time-- Frank Frazetta.

I love the Ken Kelly cover as well, but I do prefer his earlier work. Generally speaking, Fantasy books get better cover art than say, contemporary thrillers. Joe Jusko could do a good job, but I understand he’s knee deep in ERB cover art projects right now. I have the original Tor release of Lotus, but I’ll likely buy the re-release in the interest of maintaining continuity with the new novels. I intend to buy them all as they come out. I only bought a small amount of the Tor books, and that was well after they were released.

Are the books out yet?

Nope. Now they're looking at early September for a release of both Emerald Lotus and Living Plague.
It's more of a wait, but for Living Plague a couple extra months is nothing after 24 years in hibernation.
Thanks for asking. When the books finally hit the shelves you can count on me to squawk and bellow about it right here.

So...what's going on with this book? Perilous Worlds website seems to be under construction. And there's no news that I can find anywhere...
