An early look at the contents for the 3rd CtB Omnibus volume in the following video from the Near Mint Condition youtube channel: I don't know why they went for the cover of issue 57 for this Direct Market Editon. Thankfully, the Frank Cho cover looks great.

NMC seems to be a main outlet these days and going forward, it announced several of the Masterworks for next year already (much to the consternation and possibly some hurt feelings of some viewers ). Looks like Cory got a good copy of the Power Records story. I guess V4 will come out around next July and finish up Roy (#84-115) and the two annuals with Zenobia.

Wow, the absence of issues #6 and #7 of Marvel Feature: Red Sonja break up the epic crossover story going on in Conan the Barbarian at the time. The first of those two issues fit between Conan #65 and #66, and the second one between Conan #66 and #67.
And if Marvel Feature: Red Sonja #6 just showed how Red Sonja herself was drawn into the plot, #7 was a full on adventure at the Cimmerian's side, trading insults and blows with both him and Belit. A notable chunk of a wild 1970's era Conan saga will be missing from this omnibus.
Considering how these huge, expensive tomes are styled as permanent archives and aimed at completists, this is disappointing.

Considering how these huge, expensive tomes are styled as permanent archives and aimed at completists, this is disappointing. Cory threw cold water on any thoughts of them being included last week. MF #6 I could see since Conan is just on the last page, but you would've hoped something could've been worked out to include the whole of MF #7 since he and Belit are in the whole thing. I have to think the general parameters are if RS is a guest star in a Conan story that appeared in a Conan series (CTB, SSOC and King Conan for that one issue), she can be included. If it's a solo story from those books with no Conan appearance, it can't and any of her starring series are off limits. At least it's better than the DH situation where the whole thing was left out and they only got one issue back in print. But disappointing...yeah.

Thankfully, it's a lot better than what we got from Dark Horse.

Instocktrades has it this morning at #5 in sales, with Peter David Hulk Omni #1 at #1. Marvel’s back catalog is an embarrassment of riches and unlike DC they have been properly able to utilize it in the collection category. To get one Omni in 4 digits in preorders is a good number. Marvel has been able to do it on a regular basis and in months like this, they’ll likely have two in the mid to high 1000s. The David Omni is something that’s been about n people’s want list for a long time so it looks like it‘ll be another success for them.

This map from Conan Saga 85 is also included. Anyone know the artist?
