I think I remember a few months back people saying he’d lost weight and thought he’d had COVID. He was the same age my grandfather was when he passed away from the same thing. Terrible thing. He left his mark in a short time.

Oh man, this is so sad. I had no idea he had cancer for so long. May he rest in peace.

It was a good day when I was reading Fantastic Four and the Black Panther was introduced by Stan and Jack.It was an even better day when I was reading his stories in Jungle Action by Don McGregor , Rich Buckler, Gil Kane, and Billy Graham. It was a great day seeing him on the big screen in the MCU. Today is a very sad day. R.I.P. Chadwick Boseman!

I havent seen black panther, is it any good??? Im not a huge fan of superhero flicks If you're not a superhero flick fan, probably wouldn't knock your socks off. I'd say it's a solid representation of the genre, better than average. The thing I really liked about was this: (for context I'm white dude from midwestern suburbs who's not super familiar with african cultures) I thought it was a fascinating, vibrant, exciting portrayal of cultures you don't usually see on screen. It was like seeing lord of the rings where I'd heard of/read some about these cultures, but then when you see them on screen with all the costumes and hair and makeup and settings, it makes it seem like a real place. A really cool portrayal of a place with history and people and stories. On top of that, Boseman brought a really cool, regal weight to the character (he appeared in multiple MCU movies and was quite good in all of them). If you have any interest in marvel movies, give it a shot, if for no other reason than as a tribute to a great artist who was really starting to hit his stride.
