Well, the last season of Vikings was released on Amazon Prime before the History Channel, if it even aired on History, not sure but the show never really recovered from Fimmel leaving.
But Vikings Valhalla Seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix is pretty watchable. It's not very historicaly accurate again, but it's some fun pulp action if you can turn off the historian portion of your brain.
You also have to be able to shrug off token casting, such as Jarl Haakon being a woman whose mother is from Africa.
But overall I'd recommend trying these 2 seasons out if you have Netflix. The main characters are Leif Erikson, Freydis Eriksdotter, and Harold Hadrada.

I second that - I'm really enjoying Vikings: Valhalla, especially this second season with Leif and Harold on their journey down the river to Constantinople. I like the boat's crew of interesting characters from various parts of the world travelling with them on this adventure too. It may be loose with the history, as you say, but I agree that it's a lot of fun if you can forget that. The Vikings show has always been that way, after all.
