Do these idiots at CBR read their own site? www.cbr.com/era-inspiration-speculation-new-movies-lotr/There's a whole big portion of this article talking about how Warners could adapt the Silmarillion. But a number of times they've posted articles saying the only things available to adapt are Hobbit and LOTR. Oy... (I've also noticed a trend where they post articles about the same information, just by different people. We had another iteration this week of the "Why Don Cheadle replaced Terrence Howard in the MCU" article, probably about the third time in the past year alone.)

She has to be sweating over these films. Rings of Power kind of showed that episodic streaming of these viginettes can be kind of clunky. They're more suited to films, I think. I'm at the part in Two Towers Book 2 where Faramir is telling Sam and Frodo about the decline of the Numenorians that settled on Middle Earth and how some took to the dark arts, etc... How the men of Gondor grew more in love with their heraldry and forefathers but didn't appreciate or even have sons of their own. Then the Stewards stepped in when the last king died. Could be some interesting movies there. But I really want then to move forward in time. Bring back Aragorn and Arwen... As for CBR, they keep getting more and more into the practice of clickbaiting.

Meanwhile, over at good ol' Hasbro...Aragorn is now black in Magic: The Gathering. and right on cue, the the CBR article www.cbr.com/mtg-aragorn-card-lotr-set-fan-reaction/Not gleefully celebrating a token race swap for no reason that completely ignores the original content is racist.

I mean, if you quint and knot yourself into a pretzel, you can argue for different skinned Numenoreans, though other than Miriel in Rings of Power, there's not a lot of other evidence out there, specifically for Aragorn. Galadriel and Eowyn, they're just making s*** up for whatever reason.
Give me Michael Evans' Black Jesus any time over this.

More forced tokenism. After Rings of Power I would expect nothing less.

Finally! Some real stars have been announced for Rings of Power Season 2...maybe not stars, but very well known actors. Ciaran Hinds and Rory Kinnear have just been announced as part of the new season. As who, for some reason they want to keep everything a secret. But at least they have gotten a hold of some established people.

You’re think so for some of it! But a computer wouldn’t have that much positive on faith, so there’s a human somewhere in there.

Humans prompt, then ai produces the content which the humans then edit. Ghostwriters for instance are finding that they are increasingly being asked to rewrite ai generated text. Here's an example from a comment on youtube: But if the idea of Amazon using ai generated (and human edited) content for Rings of Power seems too far fetched check out the following: Ubisoft sparks debate by unveiling AI tool to aid scriptwritingwww.eurogamer.net/ubisoft-sparks-debate-by-unveiling-ai-tool-to-aid-scriptwriting

IThe Wheel of Time I could definitely believe they’d try this out. That one really lacks emotional content.

Course, alot of people dismiss the ai theory and say 'don't let these bozos off the hook that easily.' Rafe Judkins has got a lot to answer for!

Class CBR click bait www.cbr.com/rings-of-power-flashbacks-outdo-warner-bros-lotr-movies/They put Silmarillion in the headline, then do admit they CAN'T adapt the Silmarillion due to rights issues, but then still go through things they can't adapt directly since they don't appear in Lord of the Rings (i.e. the Kinslayings). Supposedly a dwarf character Narvi didn't appear due to last minute recasting but may show up in Season 2. His big thing was being friends with Celebrimbor and I suppose helping him make the dwarf rings. Again, not sure how much of this is actually in LOTR (his main mention seems to be building one of the gates), but maybe they can get away with it since someone's gotta make those rings, may as well be him!
