REH Mentions In Current Media

Per a discussion that I had with Von K in the TV Shows thread, it was suggested that we have a topic for any mentions of Robert E. Howard in current media, such as TV shows, movies, magazines, etc.   Feel free to share anything you come across.

This is a re-post of my reply in the TV Shows topic:

This fun little exchange was on last week's episode of Young Sheldon. His sister ran away, but thankfully Sheldon had a map and a plan hehe:





Sheldon: "Right, well, based on the time they've been gone and the average speed limit, I've calculated that this circle is the maximum distance they could have traveled."

Sheldon's mom: "And what are the pins?"

Sheldon: "I'm glad you asked. To help narrow down the search, I've identified points of interest to teenage girls. The big four... Malls, beauty salons, horse stables and roller rinks. And what are the blue pins? Those are places that I'm interested in that we can swing by after we find them. For example, Peaster, Texas..."



Sheldon's family: "No one cares."



Sheldon: "Peaster, Texas... Birthplace of Robert E. Howard, regarded to be the father of the sword and sorcery subgenre."



Sheldon's dad: "Sheldon, this isn't about you."
