Interesting, thanks for the review, Gary. The trailer looked weird as, and it seems the film is the same. I won't be driving three hours to watch it anywhere, but I guess I'll eventually catch it!

I read Gary's review. Out of curiosity, I'll sail the seas for this one in the future. But stuff like this just irks me. If you want to make a surreal art film inspired by aspects from Conan films or literature, that's fine. But to claim this is a "gender swapped retelling"(as they are doing in trailers) makes me want to tell the director to fuck off if I ever meet him. Just no. This should not at any point in production or conception have been called a "Conan" movie. Conan being public domain has its minuses—this is one of them.
