I am hoping one of you can help identify a movie for me. I saw a clip from it that had no sound that makes it even harder. I would put the date at late 70s or early 80s, but could be wrong. I got the feeling that it was a European movie because I would have recognized it if it was from the US. Anyway, main character is like a James Bond guy punching and kicking a generic brand of bad guys and it was way over the top slap stick, making this a comedy for sure. A bunch of bad guys come running down a wide staircase and MC guns them all down in slow motion as they flail about dramatically. Meanwhile there is a sidekick (?) burly, breaded Bluto looking guy also punching guys out with ease, impervious to their offense. There is a part where for some reason one of the bad guys come sup wearing boxing gloves and Bluto yanks them off and hits the bag guy with them while he is just holding them, which makes no sense but is funny. Scene is strangely colorful with Austin Powers vibe. Any guesses? Looked funny as hell. That scene kinda reminds me of the type of thing you'd find in the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies. Fight scene from Watch out we're mad (1974)

Avatar: The Way of Water | Official Teaser Trailer Surprised to see that with Dr.Strange before it was released online. The original was a visual treat when we saw it in 3D Imax though the story wasn't up to much. TBH have little interest in seeing any more.

I’ve watched 45 minutes of Avatar out of the, what, 15 or so hours of the original (exaggeration). I have no desire to watch the rest, didn’t interest me at all.

I quite enjoyed Avatar, and I’m looking forward to this much anticipated sequel. Sure, the story was no big deal, but the execution was astounding. The jungle planet with its hyper aggressive life forms was pure Burroughs’ Venus to me; great fun to watch. Pure popcorn nonsense and a great time at the movies!

Watched most of "2,000 Mules."
I wonder, just how many people, a year and half removed, still believe the 2020 Election wasn't tampered with to an unprecedented level. I saw some of the same video footage when it originally happened from some of the darker corners of the internet that wouldn't hold any semblance of credibility as a platform or source, but now you have this- A somewhat mainstream-released movie that shows video evidence of "mules" walking up to ballot boxes only at 3am and only in battleground states, looking around like they are casing the joint, then quickly stuffing the box, taking a "selfie" then moving on to the next box on their route of average 25 boxes a night, tracked by cell phone GPS. My favorite part was when the one guy actually got caught and fingerprinted and the next night all the mules on video had gloves on....haha. I talked about this at work, encouraging people to see it and they ask, "why isn't it being reported in the news?" Is the answer not easy? THEY ALL CONFIRMED THE ELECTION and claimed it was secure, including FOX. Like they are going to willfully smear egg all over their faces? Come on. Tucker Carlson, who should be all over this, can eat a calcified dog turd on this one.

I will have to have a look at this one, but it's probably happening all over the world, that Macron win, we are in election in Australia and both of the major parties will be signing the WHO Pandemic Treaty, in effect giving the world health organisation power over our health services. The last few years was just a warm up. The U.S. will be a signatory too, the Biden administration will make sure of it. Anyway thanks for the heads up on the '2,000 Mules' doco.

The action, costuming and fight sequences nicely executed. Effective use of the medieval mace.

Avatar: The Way of Water | Official Teaser Trailer I watched the first Avatar years ago. Looking at this trailer I have to say that the CGI characters look as stiff, fake and soulless as they did in the original. Think I will pass.

Well, I’m looking forward to seeing this long awaited sequel. I enjoyed the first film a great deal, despite it’s flaws. Better than most of the MCU extravaganzas dumped on moviegoers over the last decade or so…

My kids asked me about taking them to the new Chip n' Dale movie, but seeing as this is a Disney property, I did a little checking. I used to watch the Rescue Rangers show a little bit as a kid.
The first thing that popped up wasn't the movie itself, but a news article. So, Gadget, the girl Chipmunk who Chip always had mutual blushing flirtations and kissing...she ended up getting with the fly who never spoke? The fly?? And then had dozens of little flea/chipmunk babies?? That fly was always like a pet in the show, like a dog. This really caught me off guard due to its extreme jaunt into ultra-weirdness. I looked up the scene because I could hardly believe it. Sure enough, Monteray Jack shows Chip a picture of Gadget and a horde of hybrid maggot-looking babies. Then, I dug a little deeper and I guess there is a scene where the characters interact with shirtless strippers from a Chipendale's club too.
The boys will be watching Jason and the Argonauts this weekend. And I'll be saving about forty bucks on tickets and popcorn. I hope, in my lifetime that Disney crashes and burns so I can piss on the ashes.

Better than most of the MCU extravaganzas dumped on moviegoers over the last decade or so… To each their own I guess, but I have to agree with you about the MCU stuff they have been churning out in the last several years. For instance, some of the computer imagery from the Avengers movies looks cartoonish at times, like a cheap stitch up job. Go back 17 years and I still think the 2005 King Kong film looks as good or even better than most of the CGI films that came afterwards.
