I'm assuming lower priced mass market paperbacks will follow?

Here's the description/details of all 3 of the upcoming Conan books, I'll add covers when available. JOHN C. HOCKING, CONAN AND THE EMERALD LOTUS
Lured into the addictive thrall of the Emerald Lotus, the lovely sorceress Zalandra turns to Conan for aid. They must contend with bandits, undead revenants, monsters, and the desert deeps to defeat the lotus’s Stygian master in his lair, never guessing the Emerald Lotus itself may be the greater threat.
$16 ISBN : 978-1-7328301-1-0 5.2” x 7.9”
JOHN C. HOCKING, CONAN AND THE LIVING PLAGUE
Sent to recover treasure from a plague-wracked city, not only must Conan avoid its deranged survivors, but battle a deadly disease given humanoid shape. To save himself – and perhaps the world — he allies with a scheming sorcerer to traverse a demon-haunted abyss in a desperate bid to destroy the Living Plague.
$16 ISBN : 978-1-7328301-0-3 5.2” x 7.9” MICHAEL A. STACKPOLE, THE SONG OF BÊLIT
The novel is a prequel to Robert E. Howard’s story Queen of the Black Coast. It introduces Bêlit, the woman who is the love of Conan’s life, and chronicles her turbulent early life which set her on the path to becoming the pirate queen who ensorcels Conan. The exciting adventure dives deep into the world Howard created, weaving threads of history into the backstory of the most intriguing woman Howard ever wrote.
$16 ISBN : 978-1-7328301-2-7 5.2” x 7.9”what's the third? Emerald Lotus reprint?

Any thoughts of these newly published Conan yarns being on Audible (with a GREAT narrator)?

what's the third? Emerald Lotus reprint? Yeah, it looks like we have 2 new novels and 1 reprint in the 1st phase of pastiche novels. Be interested to read Mr Stackpole's take on Belit's background. Afaik he wrote Song of Belit shortly after the 2011 Conan film so, like John's Living Plague, it's been waiting a long time to see print.

You wait ages for more Hocking Conan then two come at once:
From Perilous Worlds' Facebook:
"We are so excited to announce our collaboration with Marvel on some brand new Conan novellas! First one is “Black Starlight” by John C. Hocking. Sorcerers, monsters and ghost towns: John Hocking hits it all! Black Starlight takes place after the events of Conan and the Emerald Lotus, as Conan and his companions eagerly depart the desert wastes of Stygia. Conan must track down a horrific, inhuman mage lairing in a deserted Stygian village, not just to save his friends, but perhaps his very soul!"
I'm assuming this will be one of the novellas serialised in the back of the new CtB or SSOC comics. I'm curious how they'll be collected after being first published, alongside the comics in graphic novels or as separate novellas?

I guess, they'll be published separately.
The first story arc in SSOC by Duggan and Garney will be 5 issues and the Conan Novella by Scott Oden 12 issues. It would make more sense to publish them in their own books rather than split up the Novellas through 3 graphic novels. That means we're probably gonna get 4 Conan books a year through SSOC.
It looks like it's gonna be a good year for Conan next year.

Isn't that the normal pattern? Single issues followed by a collection of 4-6 issues three months or so later?

Isn't that the normal pattern? Single issues followed by a collection of 4-6 issues three months or so later? Sorry my post is probably a little confusing. I'm certain Marvel will collect the first arc (first 5 SSOC issues) in hardback followed by TPB. The Conan Novella by Scott Oden will be completed in 12 issues of SSOC, so ideally the Novella should be published separately - otherwise, the novella will be split up in 3 graphic novels.
