Boy, Marvel sure seems to be taking Dark Horse down over the last 5 years: first Star Wars, then Conan and now Fox is taking back Buffy the Vampire Slayer, likely because it's going over to Disney in the buyout. One of their remaining properties is Alien, but who knows how long they'll stick around (not sure if Predator is still with them). It looks like they only had somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-16 books on the chart out of 500! Wow... They should also have Aliens and Predator, as they are Fox as well. So, yeah . . . sure hope DH has something up their sleeve! Oh I know it well, I thought I wouldn’t be involved in this whole thing since I’m in the part that’s now New Fox. But I’m moving in November to a different building across the street due to it. I may end up moving back to the building I just left in June depending how things work out!

With all the recent acquisitions by Marvel I kinda feel sorry for DH. But, then again, Disney could also hand Buffy, Aliens and Predator to other publishers like IDW.
... and we still have to wait and see what Marvel will bring to the table with the Conan books. I'm optimistic about the the quality of reproduction with the Classic Marvel Conan in the Omnibus editions - probably not as optimistic with the new material, but, I guess, we'll have to wait and see.

It is quite unnerving really. Disney owning most of my favorite properties: Marvel, Star Wars . . . and now Conan (comic rights, anyway)? <Gulp.> Gasp!

Sales figures for the 6th Conan Omnibus Volume: 179 Conan Omnibus Vol. 6 $24.99 Dark Horse 598I was looking for it this morning on the chart and didn't see it, might have been looking too low. Back up slightly from last month, but at this point DH will take what it can get from them.

It'll be interesting comparing sales of the DH omnibus editions with Marvel's Conan Chronicles Epic Collections reprinting the DH material for $40.

I don't think the Colossal Conan the Cimmerian made it into the top 500 Graphic Novels sales chart! Walking Dead Vol. 28 A Certain Doom came in at 501 with 234 copies!

Yeah, it looks like they're only interested in the Marvel stuff.

That certainly shows a lack of demand , that volume of the WD must only have been for re-orders. It originally came out Sept. last year. Terry

Terry Yeah, I know, it's a shame that comic book shops ordered less than 234 copies. Gotta feeling the Colossal King Conan will also not make it into the top 500, even the FP Megastore in London did not have a copy last week. It'll be interesting to see the sales figures for Conan Omnibus 7 and the Conan Reader.

Actually just double-checking on Colossal Conan the Cimmerian and the release date for that I keep seeing is 30th October so , hopefully , it might show up in this month's sales figures.

Terry I think the release date is a couple of weeks earlier at the Comic Shops (Diamond Direct Market). Colossal Conan the Barbarian Release Dates:Direct Market: October 17, 2018 Amazon: October 30, 2018 Colossal King Conan Release Dates: Direct Market: November 14 2018 Amazon: November 20, 2018 WHSmith: November 27, 2018 If the Direct Market release dates are right, I guess, it's no surprise that the Colossal did not make it into the top 500 - I think most collectors of the Omnibus/Colossal editions pick them up with a discount online.
