I think Marvel will be hoping for better numbers:
151 CONAN OMNIBUS TP VOL 07 WITCHCRAFT AND WARFARE DAR 573 (this seems about right)
357 COLOSSAL KING CONAN HC DAR 261 (for those having a hard time finding this, well...)

According to early indications the launch of Conan the Barbarian should be pretty successful. A real concern will be once the sales figures level out - where will we expect to see CtB on the sales chart?
I have included below the Marvel books that have sold more than 20,000 in November. It looks tough out there, it'll be interesting to see how well Conan sells this time next year.

Yes just look at the drop-off for Uncanny X-Men , over 100k between # 1 and # 2.

Yeah, and a 300k drop for the Fantastic Four between #1 and #3.
Dr Strange seems to be averaging around 28,000 copies a month. Black Panther #6 with around 26k ordered, should do a lot better considering. and Tony Stark Iron Man will probably be relaunched/cancelled within a year with only 35,876 for issue 6.
I think Star Wars is currently the longest ongoing Marvel comic (58 issues so far) without a relaunch/renumbering with 44,154.
It's gonna be tough for Conan, hopefully it'll average out at 40k to 50k.

We'll have to see if the physical issue has a proportional jump in chart position. If it's roughly the same, we can at least get a clue about what part of the audience may be going digital...or not.

It's all going to depend on the creative teams. If they don't get high profile creators we might get back down to Slayer numbers... which held steady at 7,000 iirc. That was the core Conan audience that would buy a Conan comic no matter what.
But Marvel didn't get the license for it to sell so low. They need a top shelf creative team to get the numbers they're looking for.

I was able to talk to the employee that orders the books for my local comic shop and he was pretty impressed with how Conan: The Barbarian is selling relatively speaking. There were very few copies left on the shelf and it seems to be selling better than its final days at Dark Horse. There were only a few issues of #3 left and only a couple of $10.00 - $15.00 variants of #1 and #2. I didn't ask him how many they were selling, etc... but I got the impression they ordered kind of low at first, which isn't a surprise given how the Dark Horse books kind of bottomed out at the end there.
