Marvel should be embarrassed. That too!

Ablaze just has to be very happy with their numbers. They're very consistent and not that far off from the Marvel ones. Yeah, I'd be happy with those numbers if I was Ablaze. For a young independent comic company that's great. For Marvel, that's pretty pathetic. I hope the license runs out soon for them.

Marvel should be embarrassed. That too! If it carries on like this the omnis will sell more than the comics if you include the book market sales with the direct market

Then again it is cheaper picking the comics up individually now the SSoC omnis are $150!

One of Omar's last videos from a few weeks ago made it sound like he wasn't sure if the Conan omnis would finish...it was cryptic, but it was almost like the sales might not be there.

I dunno about the recent sales, but it is kinda unusual rushing through the last 4 CtB omnibus volumes in 9 months.

At least CTB will be finished, SSOC is still only around halfway through and we're in a choppy period until Roy gets back with 190. They may have to keep the prices, in the words of Larry McReynolds, on the high side and we'll see how many die hards will buy this stuff that you can likely get for cost. I'm worried about the Masterwork line, it's recovered from the late 2000s slowdown, but the Timely and Atlas lines never picked back up, and lines like Rawhide Kid and Sgt. Fury remain on hold.

I'm kinda tempted by the Marvel Masterwork editions of the John Byrne run of Fantastic Four and Miller's Daredevil.

Byrn's Fantastic Four is coming out in omni format later this year, both volumes, if you might be interested. I will be grabbing those.

Yeah the Masterworks are still around 3 volumes away from finishing the Byrne run so the omnis might be a way to go to get it now.

Probably been the nail in the coffin when Marvel decided not to carry on with the licence. Yeah, I think you're right. It'd be interesting to find out what the sales are like at the book market at places like Amazon. Hopefully, these are the type of things Malmberg looks into with the self published books. There's no point relying on the Direct Market.

Thanks Terry. Savage Sword of Conan Marvel Years Omnibus HC Vol. 7 Marvel 243 By Crom! What's happened to the omni sales. Not looking good for any of the Marvel omnis. That can't be right, can it? April 2022 Thor By Jason Aaron Omnibus HC Vol. 1 478 Moon Knight Omnibus HC Vol. 1 471 Savage She-Hulk Omnibus HC 386 Star Wars Darth Vader Gillen Larroca Omnibus 367 Doctor Strange Aaron Bachalo Omnibus 358 Captain Britain Omnibus 324 Savage Sword of Conan Marvel Years Omnibus HC Vol. 7 243 War of Realms Omnibus 223 Fantastic Four By Hickman Omnibus HC Vol. 2 222The Marvel omnibus sales in the Direct Market have been roughly the same since January! Could the real significant sales shifted to Amazon & the book market?
