Awful colors. The Savage Land should be dark and menacing (along with its animals), not shades of rose and yellow. There ii no sense of mood. Nothing seems understood by editorial staff. Just get the next book out.

Such material should be intended for 8 year old kids. It is so stupid that I can't imagine myself reading a comic like this.

A lot of Marvel's releases look like they are geared for younger audiences. Yet, from what I see, whenever I'am at a comic book shop, there's no one under their twenties there. So there is really no good excuse for them to be releasing comics that are intended for children-especially not Conan comics.

What the hell is a "repeating" crossbow and how could it automatically draw the bolt back for firing?

What the hell is a "repeating" crossbow and how could it automatically draw the bolt back for firing? The Khitans probably According to some Chinese sources the Han fought against the Xiongnu (Huns) with repeating crossbows. The Hunnic warriors would usually deal with the crossbows at a distance and not advance, especially in a tight formation or an enclosed space until the Han Chinese infantry units armed with crossbows (including the repeating crossbow) had been crushed from a distance. Oh, I forgot to add the crossbows had a magazine above with arrows, I think. Hope that helps. Here's a link to the wiki page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repeating_crossbow

And I had no I idea whither it was fictitious or real.

Yeah, they are the best way to collect the manga as of now. I can imagine people who have collected the entire manga in those small volumes feel as if they taken a blow below belt. I never bothered collecting all of them; just a few to support the author and official translations. But I sold what I had, as it irked me somewhat having a few random volumes on on my shelf. And also my interest in the manga has waned over the years with its quality.

I love Berserk, started watching the original anime in the 2000's then read the manga and was blown away. I'm not a fan of how Miura changed his style in recent years but I'm still heavily invested in it.
