Prince Charles, heir apparent to the British throne noted 'To curb the spread of the virus, there have been lockdowns across the world, with less industrial activity, far fewer car journeys and vast numbers of flights cancelled, and Charles said this presented a roadmap for the future. “We need only look to the improved air quality in some of the world’s major cities and the return of wildlife to our communities and waterways,” he said. When the current crisis is over, Charles said he hoped the world would reflect on how it might help shape a more environmentally friendly future.' br.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-britain-charles-idCAKCN2242DOthe earth will survive i am pretty certain...the human race is more fragile...its fifty fifty imo

I first read about it in the Herald Sun paper today. 'UN secretary general urges all countries to declare climate emergencies' 'Governments around the world should all declare a state of climate emergency until the world has reached net zero CO2 emissions, the UN secretary general, António Guterres, has told a summit of world leaders.' “This is unacceptable,” he told the online Climate Ambition Summit, co-hosted by the UN, the UK and France. “The trillions of dollars needed for Covid recovery is money that we are borrowing from future generations. This is a moral test. We cannot use these resources to lock in policies that burden future generations with a mountain of debt on a broken planet.” The US is not represented at the summit, which was only opened to countries willing to make strong new commitments. The president-elect, Joe Biden, has however signalled his intention to push forward with the Paris agreement, pursue a green recovery from Covid, and reach net zero emissions.' Australia, Brazil, Russia and Saudi Arabia were also excluded from speaking among others.' www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/dec/12/un-secretary-general-all-countries-declare-climate-emergencies-antonio-guterres-climate-ambition-summit#:~:text=Governments%20around%20the%20world%20should,a%20summit%20of%20world%20leaders.&text=Guterres%20said%20on%20Saturday.,urge%20all%20others%20to%20follow.%E2%80%9D This 'emergency' that the UN wants to push needs to be scrutinized. I don't think anyone wants that to mean restrictions and lockdowns based on pollution targets, an opportunity for some to try and curtail our freedoms and install authoritarian dictatorships, or at least pseudo police states on the basis that they are 'protecting the future generations and the Earth'. Watch the propaganda ministry come out and label the rest of the rest of us that don't agree with that 'save the planet at all costs ' line as 'selfish' and talk about 'flattening the carbon dioxide emissions curve' or some such nonsense. Unfortunately, many will swallow that narrative. I hope at least that there is enough opposition to limit that style of interest based authoritarianism for the most part if something along those lines comes to pass.

You want something pre civilization, than Gobekli Tepe fits that bill. Only five percent of Gobekli Tepe has so far been excavated. Lots of amazing and mysterious facts about this site. Great intro here from youtuber Bright Insight: He runs a superb channel on Ancient Mysteries well worth checking out.

Fascinating stuff, the video says that Gobekli Tepe is 90,0000 square meters, the excavated part. The prehistoric pillars located on the site weigh 10 or more tons, the channel claims 40 to 60 tons each, and there are around 200 of them. At a starting date of 10000 BC it fits nicely within the framework of the Hyborian Age ( well, the unofficial dates given to Conan's time by L Sprague de Camp and Roy Thomas ) I am definitely going to look at Gobekli Tepe in closer detail.
