Yes nice to see him included and them celebrating an 80 page issue for their 80 years. This special 1000th issue of Marvel Comics contains 80 one-page stories, each by a different team, and each featuring different characters from the Marvel universe.

Here is Conan's page. Maybe I'm just old and cynical, and disappointed by Conan's return to Marvel, but it feels to me like this was written by someone who has read Conan, and who gets Conan, but is trying too hard to write Conan. It's probably hard to capture the spirit of a character in a single page, but this just doesn't sit right with me...

meh. I like the overall story idea. Conan catches an old thieving buddy trying to steal from him as he sits a king. I don't think a young Conan would be on someone's nutz like that. And I also think that as king he would have freed his friend, slapped him on the back and tossed back pitchers of ale all night.

Yeah, for a one page story, it's not a bad concept.

The Conan page was pretty cool. have those guys do a whole issue.

The comic was pretty cool overall. a couple of pages were so "Woke" the writer's wide open eyes must consume their entire head.
