- this performance is astonishing: 2 playing on 1 harp, and using hands and foot as percussion, too. These ladies are brilliant. [ i want to watch all their videos ] - >> check out their 'ozzy-crazy train': and they smile a lot on that. >> and their 'star wars medley'. - Such very beautiful relaxing versions of our fave tunes. I want them to come play for my Coven...

- most beautiful song Maiden ever made. Classic. [ back in the early days when they had class ] Will be checking them out for the first time in Charlotte this June. Looking forward to it. Hope they play a lot of old school stuff. One of the first songs I ever learned to play on guitar was Die with your Boots On.

A smoking-hot femme fatale exhibiting her prowess on the fret-board.
What could possibly be any more wicked?
Dig the flying-V - her's reminds me of one Hammett used to play back in the day...

I saw Sepultura - one of my fav metal bands - years ago with Danzig. Me and a drummer buddy used to shred some Inner Self - we loved it. Now, this chick can absolutely rip some Andreas Kisser like nobody's business. When my wife was pregnant with our son I wanted to name him after Andreas - she would't have it. She did like 'Ashton' however, a name I bandied about quite frequently. So he bears the name, not of one of my fav guitarists, but of a favorite author instead (Clark Ashton Smith) It's a good thing I hadn't heard of this chick or I may have went with Nicole! Joking aside, I really love watching normal folks riff like it's nothing. Watching professionally produced vids of professional bands is nice - but here, for me, is where the rubber meets the road. I'll have to post a link to another of my YouTube heroes - 331Erock!

A very early vid by Erock. I've been a subscriber of his for years now. He's amazing. For a hair-raising lead, focus in on about 2:07. Frak me. And I thought Andy LaRocque could flutter vibrato.

Another eRock version of Gaga. When I first heard her years ago I thought: 'Man it'd be effin wicked to metallize some of her stuff.' Bad Romance specifically stood out in my mind. But why bother when eRock is all over it like a hobo on a ham sandwhich?

Just got the new Pallbearer disc, Heartless, their third.
And, Sacred, the first disc from The Obsessed in 20 years.
I can't imagine The Obsessed will be able to lay down another epic album like 1991's Lunar Womb, but what the hell.
