Is there any chance they restock those trades?

If they manage to get a hold of a pile from somewhere else. These days there weren't that many printed to start with, basically pre-orders times a certain amount (maybe 3 or 4, tops...if that)

Yeah...it has gotten to the point where you have to have your finger on the mouse button the day they post some of these omnis for sale. I missed out on Sensational She Hulk and The Silver Surfer omnis because they sold out within hours. It wasn't like that a few months ago. Looks like I have to go with the puffy lips cover. Yeah, waiting for things to actually go on sale isn't good enough anymore. It's gotten progressively worse over the years and now the current situation has driven it over the cliff. To paraphrase what they say over on the other board, "PRE-ORDER EVERYTHING, NO REGRETS!" Is there a web site that allows pre-orders at IST prices though?

When I used to pre-order things with DCBS they were usually 40%-50% off list price.

cheapgraphicnovels.com is a good place to buy from. They ship, somehow, direct from China — where a lot Marvel's trades are printed. They pack items very well with a lot of padding.

They actually have SSoCOMY vol 4 up for preorder at 50% off. Any reason why you don't use them anymore or are you not buying omnis online anymore?

Stopped pre-ordering HC & trades five years ago, lifestyle changes and loss of extra time, not anything to do with them. I've had nothing but good experiences with DCBS, even when there were problems that came up.

Like I said, about a year ago when I started getting into omnis because of the Conan collection, IST was awesome. Just lately, probably because of COVID and demand going up it's hard to catch some of these omnis as they release now- I missed Wolverine, Sensational She Hulk and a couple others just because I wasn't paying attention for less than a day. Missing out on this latest cover that I wanted. They also aren't accurate with their release dates...Conan Original Marvel Years Vol 4 was listed on their Coming Soon section as July 15th...now its off the list and just sitting on my wishlist. Anyway, I am going to give DCBS a try.

This is all based on how it used to be done in the good old days of six months ago: When you do pre-order, you have to get it in before they send their orders into Diamond. So once the new solicits come out, they put up the pre-orders and you do your ordering. Usually you'll get a delivery at the end of the month it gets released. Otherwise you're at the mercy of what's left over.

Looks like volume 3 with the Norem cover is back in stock at IST if anybody is interested. I missed out on it when it first showed up (I think) and ended up going with the Xena puffy-lip cover. Since, I snatched up the Norem cover and put the other one on eBay. I hate eBay but it already has multiple watchers for a price slightly more than I paid for it...

Yeah I got patient and grabbed a DM cover for vol. 3 too. It seems it was restocked over in instocktrades. Gonna preorder vol. 4.

Picked up the 4th volume today. To my surprise they also included the John Buscema Conan Portfolio from 1980
