Season two wraps up Fangs and Spear's story, well at least Spear's. Genndey has expressed he is heavily disinterested in continuing this story. He desires to turn season 3 into an anthology series of stories unrelated to Spear and fang. I think this sounds like a solid idea.
My thoughts on season two are not that great, I disliked it for a plethora of reasons. The story he choose to tell here was not that great or interesting for me and there were dumb things in each episode that detracted from the quality. I hated how Spear and Fang are practically invincible here, they receive fatal wounds yet in the next scene all damage is erased, it's silly and subtracts gravity from scenes. The enter subplot with the Viking seeking revenge was very emotionally manipulative for me. Episode one of season 2 is outstanding though, as good as the best from season one.

I enjoyed season two quite a bit, and found the ending to be quite appropriate and satisfying.
Episode five was one of the finest pieces of animated television I have ever witnessed.

I liked the ending as well, although I anticipated Spear perishing. I disliked episode five, it didn't make sense to me how they could butcher an entire village of Vikings. And all injuries disappear in the next frame. This is were the season went down hill for me.

Another preview for episode four. It's like ERB meets REH. Prehistoric mammals and dinosaurs, cavemen, barbarians and Vikings, has it all, they should come out with a term for this kind of sub genre of fantasy, maybe barbarian heroic fantasy.

Been wondering. Good to hear.
I wish they'd followed more adventures of Spear and Fang for a while longer, but at the same time it is quite interesting how much the story is moving along in this series. There are so many series in animation where no real stories develop and not much changes over the years.
