Unfortunately it's probably out of sight, out of mind. I think it's likely the "next" issue is basically done but the rest may not be past the writing stage.
My heart says yes they will. My Head says no they won't.

Likely no. Though if the unreleased solicited issue is done, they could just do a digital only release (my big example of this is the Doc Savage First Wave series over at DC about a decade ago. A story arc was ending with #18 but the book was cancelled with #17. Months after cancellation #18 turned up online on Comixology. There's also the older examples of the Ms. Marvel issues that didn't see print for over a decade). It would also depend on the contracts with all the parties if they could do that. If it was back in the 70s, they'd have her show up in Savage Avengers to finish off the story arc! |
