Took me a minute to figure out what was going on with this cover...because it looks like the damsel who is standing on a gravel pile is midway through an overhead-release german suplex on Conan. The blue harpy looks like its coming to Conan's aid, trying to help break the momentum of the suplex.
And can I just say, I LOVE loincloths on chics.

That is EXACTLY what I was about to say. I recognized it instantly as based REH's story "Garden of Fear" which Marvel adapted into a Conan story. Now return to the Monastery of Yahlgan, with luck your penance will be merely to spend 7 lunar cycles locked in a small pit reading 70's Ace paperbacks, however should the Monks be feeling ill tempered you will likely be modified into some sort of bestial form by way of arcane surgical techniques performed without anesthesia.

You know, that doesn't sound too terrible actually.
If they send down a 12-pack of diet Tubz now and then it's a penance I can live with.

My copy just arrived today. Looks great! The whole issue is dedicated to Conan and other classics like Arak, Thongor, Killraven, etc. Can't wait to dig in.
