I bought the Atlantean one through eBay with Knives Deal's account there. Did not realize they had a website. It is a hefty sword with a nice weight to it. There is pitting on several parts of the blade itself. The handle wrap is basically just a piece of white string. The engraving/symbols on the sword has no weathering at all and is the same color as the blade. It should filled in with a gray/black. Actually, overall, there is no weathering what-so-ever and makes it look kind of boring.
What they really appear to be is seconds/rejects of the official release that typically sells for $300 - $500 (price depending on handle wrap options and other things).
On top of the issues with the sword itself, they shipped it in a flimsy box with soft, crappy Styrofoam. Sword was bent where the package was bent (right at the damn hilt, unfortunately!) and the sword is wobbly. They did give me a decent discount, however. As much as I wanted to pretend to be Ahnold in the backyard, I knew I just wanted a wall display and was happy with the discount they gave, so I kept it. That said, I really do want one of the nice $350-ish ones now! The guy I was in contact with said he was trying to get the owners to ship items in better packaging, so maybe things have improved. I bought mine about 4 years ago.
I did make this look better, however. I stained the the handle threads first with used tea bags to get a nice uneven base layer color (really almost looks like dried blood!). I then dapped coffee here and there to look like bloody hand prints. Coffee and tea work nice as they will not mold. Then, I took a wide graphite (carpenter's pencil) and marked up the bronze areas to add some weathering by applying and wiping continuously until I received the desired effect. I took markers of various colors and wrote over top the engravings and then quickly wiped it off, filling in the engravings, but leaving the sword clean. With a little effort this sword can be MADE to look nice on the wall, so I would say it worth the $60. You get what you pay for these days!
Keep us up to date if you decide to buy this and how things went!

Someone should offer a John Buscema Conan sword.

Was the etching on the blade filled in as it should be on either sword? I also have been wanting the father's sword and that is a great price point. However they have a $50 minimum order. Ah come on, really? Price something at 25¢ under the minimum? I'll look elsewhere.

It would be truly awesome to get anything but an Ahnold Conan sword!

The writing on the Fathers Sword is printed on the blade (and slightly crooked), not etched. The writing on the Atlantean is stamped into the blade, but is barley noticeable, I will have to fill it in with something.

Agreed, John Buscema made the swords in his art look very practical and functional, like they were balanced to be used as weapons, the look blended medieval and ancient styles.
