After 21 years Cabinet Entertainment finally get some copies of REH's Ultimate Triumph, Conan Volumes 1 & 2 and possibly more. They will be available sometime next week - or in a couple of months or possibly years when the website is up and running. At this rate we should pick up the new pastiche books in 2043

So those sold out editions were...slightly less than sold out. Will have to take a look at Ultimate Triumph, that's been a great white whale for a number of us.

Yes it's very strange how these have just turned up after all these years.

BTW a little bit more from Joakim Zetterberg "The bulk is Conan 1, Conan 2, and Ultimate Triumph. There’s only a handful of Conan 3. The real good stuff is the Ultra Limited Edition of Conan 2."
Can't remember why the Ultra Limited Edition of C2 was different off the top of my head.

I have leather-bound editions of the 2nd and 3rd volume (no dustcover or slip-case). My volume contains 16 extra pages of Gary Gianni's sketches. Every 4 or 5 years these appear to be found in some warehouse. I remember a few years ago remainder copies of the 3rd volume could be found down Charing Cross road for £30!

The Conans for the most part are, though I think the HCs have a few extras as far as illustrations go. Ultimate Triumph hasn't been reprinted in any form.

You know, that weird corner behind the last row of shelves?" Seriously, this is curious and interesting. I remember being interested when those came out, and wanting them, but being a poor engaged full-time student, not in the cards for me. Now, however... Hey, Fredrik, let's get that store going! I have some COVID Book Bucks to spend! Speaking of store: Do we know if it's going to be at conan.com? That's the obvious answer, right? But I guess it's possible it'd be at cabinetentertainment.com...

Well the store now has a "publishing" subcategory but it only includes the "tower of the elephant" box/board game. Was hoping to spring for wandering star edition as self Xmas present.
My birthday's in February; maybe self bday present?
(lol... not holding my breath)

You would have thought they'd get those up quicker than this , I'm sure those quite a few folks who'd be keen on picking them up.

This is what Fredrik told me in February , whatever it means *sigh*. "Good point! Everything has been delayed for physical goods but we are on it."
