So I got this from someone with none of the contents opened for $30 CDN. How's the game? Complicated? I've never played a board game of this caliber, all I've ever played is chess and checkers.

To be honest, it's not that great of a game. It's a bit like Risk but with overly complicated gameplay mechanics. I actually made some house rules to help the game move along better because otherwise it can become a bit boring.
If you can, try to pick up the Conan game from Monolith, it's a much better game that really captures the feel of playing as Conan. And it allows you to make your own scenarios so it has unlimited replayability.

Not exactly sure how they expect someone to remember all the finer rules. I think I'll put the game up for sale, especially since I bought the Monolith Conan board game, and it looks to be a vastly more enjoyable judging by the reviews I have watched. |
