I haven't seen any mention of Roy being at SDCC on his Facebook page , perhaps he's recording something on video. Roy's manager has confirmed the following "You will see a quick video with him talking about the Red Sonja movie."

So when are they releasing this turd !?! There is no official date. Premiere in Spain and Italy is announced for the next year.
Right, I see. They are really dragging this one out.

Did the SDCC panel leave a ripple?

Did the SDCC panel leave a ripple? Someone told me on Twitter it wasn't shown to the public , could have been shown to possible distributors I guess? I asked Dan Panosion what it was like as he had posted it was being shown and he said "Fiery" , whatever that means LOL!

As in a decent looking fiery redhead sword and sorcery adventure or as an instruction to throw it directly into a fiery pit?

Goes back to one of my favorite Tom Servo quotes: Hello, remember us, the audience? May we see please?

The teaser was shown to the visitors of the Panel, but it will be released to the public only when they find a US distributor.
But it’s very strange that none of the people present at the panel, not even the authors of RS comics, neither the comic books journalists or bloggers who have promoted this film so much in recent years, felt the need to share their impressions of the teaser through their social media. I found only two comments about the teaser from RS fans. The only logical conclusion that emerges is that the trailer did not leave a strong impression; the reaction of the fans to the trailer was lukewarm, so the Studio probably decided that it would not be wise to publish the trailer online (even though they may have previously planned to publish it), because negative comments would make it even more difficult for them to find a US distributor.
I guess that showing the teaser to Sonja's fans at the panel was a test - if they like it and if they are enthusiastic, it means that the Studio has the right thing and can spread the teaser freely on the internet because it will get the attention and good feedback of the general audience and the media, and positive comments and criticism will surely attract distributors. Maybe they could make better teaser or trailer next time when they finished the movie completely and maybe they will trick/convince USA distributors to buy the film..
I was also surprised that the teaser hadn't been leaked online by now. Either all visitors to the RS panel had their cell phones or cameras confiscated before entering the hall, or they were simply unable or uninterested to record the teaser that was shown. If this event had been in Serbia or Russia, within five minutes of its showing, the teaser would have been online.
Here are those two comments:
Shannon Lieberman announced that she would be uploading a video of the panel soon, but I did not understand whether it will be a recording of the entire panel (without the teaser for the film),
or just a short film about Sonja's jubilee, which Luke showed at the panel.
Short report:
Photos with Luke and Shannon Lieberman , Dan Panosian, Amanda and Jimmy Palmiotti, Wendy Pini, Amy Chu..)
Gracie(the best RS cosplayer ever) is in the middle), but this time with clothes on.(

Garbage casting. Gonna be another aborted franchise. Hollyweird will either wake up or go broke.

Speaking of casting, I'd really like to see which girls auditioned for the lead role. One of them was Savannah Poison, a model and athlete.

It seems the standard for Hollywood is to cast someone as far from a character's roots/origin as possible. Did any of you see the kid Netflix cast to play He-Man in their MOTU movie (which will never get made)? And no, that's not a joke. I wish it was.

But all of the fan casting is nothing without acting. Or, would you rather have the right thing to look at, with off-kilter delivery?

But all of the fan casting is nothing without acting. Or, would you rather have the right thing to look at, with off-kilter delivery? It’s important to get an actor who can understand the role and give their own interpretation. Casting someone removed from what audiences expect, especially a well established character runs the risk of them not buying it. Michael Keaton, Daniel Craig and on some levels Robert Downey Jr. and Gal Gadot are more exceptions than rules. Without seeing a trailer it’s hard to gauge things other than on pictures which may not be indicative of anything.
