I was worried it might get a bit inaccessible.

I dug a bit deeper into the bronze age stuff, along with some more esoteric ideas. I was worried it might get a bit inaccessible. I thought The Servant of Qos was a great short weird encounter yarn, with an interesting concept that seemed to mix elements from several sources, extraterrestrial, biblical, folk tale and the weird cosmic. The Servant itself is a uniquely strange phenomena for the climactic encounter. I don’t recall ever having read a yarn with this kind of manifestation or entity. Some of Erik von Daniken’s speculations is about the closest I can think of.

The servants appearance was heavily influenced by the "biblically accurate angels" rabbit hole infell into on YouTube.
