He does wacky things to globes of Earth, Venus etc... Plus, he invents a few. Basically, he's a "globe artist" who bases his work on science. Very cool resource for gamers, writers and others. Just don't take his evolutionary extrapolations too seriously. He prefers to believe that somehow "cooperation/goodfeelz," rather than "conflict/competition," is the driver of speciation and adaptation.
