Just finished this and it was downright amazing. Amidst an ocean of garbage, this was the best piece of TV I have seen in a long time. The acting, the characters, the dialogue, everything was superb. I know I am a little late on it, but would love to talk about it with spoilers for those that have seen it. For those that haven't drop what you are doing and check it out. This show, which I would describe as perfectly paced, in my opinion plucked a few strings that sung of a grinding nausea for those poor men that just got worse and worse with every episode. That last episode and final minutes left me shaking my head in disbelief and how good it was in bringing the show full circle. So some questions and thoughts. I already ordered a used hardcover book (new ones go for hundreds)...anybody know if the book is as good? The reviews are a little less than stellar. Doesn't matter- I am reading it anyway. Tough act to follow? The subsequent show is suppose to be pretty bad...? Mr. Hicky remains a mystery to me. If there is a small crticism, it is that some of the dialogue was a little hard to understand so I feel like I lost something with some of the background. Why did he want to get on the ship so bad to the point he became an imposter? That character though...he deserves a place among the greats of villians, no? I can't wait to watch it again. This scene was my favorite.
