The logo(s) aren't horrible imho. If the interior art and stories are good, I'll be happy. Yeah, the logo style is something I could overlook. It doesn't really fit a Conan comic but it's not the worst. I do feel like it's way too big though. Makes the cover look kinda crowded.

For sure the logo can be seen as minimal. But, it more of a subliminal thing as to people's response to the IP. It is not brutal, nor is it inviting.
One thing is I am glad they went back to using the font they've been using since the Dark Horse days. The 'Barbarian' font is not bad, either.

I see what you mean! While I do like the SSoC North American logo, this really does have a nice look and feel to it! I also do like the pre-issue #64 'Savage Sword' font more, as they use it here 'Espada Selvagem.' The 'Conan' font used on those Brazilian versions was used on the North American Conan Marvel Super Special #9!
(Sorry about all of the exclamation points! I've been reading a lot of early Stan Lee lately!)

Check out this link below. Here you can view ALL FONTS used in brazilian editions of "Espada Selvagem de Conan" and one looks better than the other. It is a treat. www.guiadosquadrinhos.com/capas/espada-selvagem-de-conan-a/ces0301

I think another aspect, irrespective of the design, in the FCBD issue. The logo seems to take up too much space on the cover.
They still have to get rid of that terrible sword design.

Conan commission by Roberto de La Torre: Another awesome piece! Gotta say Hun sometimes I think Rob's talent is almost supernatural, like the spirit of big John is guiding him as he works.

Agreed, adding color to his work is not needed.

With artwork like Roberto de La Torre, all they need to do is go magazine format, keep it black and white, good story telling, and avoid thinking about who they are going to offend, and they may just strike some gold out there.

and avoid thinking about who they are going to offend And there's the rub. The funny thing is the people they would offend don't actually buy comics and wouldn't buy a Conan comic even if they did. They already consider it toxic masculinity and have written it off.

I agree, most of those guys have never been Conan or REH fans in one form or another, they just love to make noise, get things cancelled, that's the real toxicity. Seen it countless of times. I can easily point to threads on forums where these guys came out of the woodwork, kept at it until the threads were locked, and you almost never saw them again, you know the familiar avatars, until the next time they were 'needed'. I'm speaking in a general way.
It actually became pathetic when Marvel artists started to make cringing apologies and donate money out of their pay to certain interest groups to avoid being condemned by the left they took so seriously. Truly pathetic stuff. I lost all respect for that outfit when that happened.
Hope Titan avoids the fatal mistakes Marvel made.

Yeah that whole Pocahontas thing really put a stake in it. I wouldn’t have done it or been a little more sly about it, but if you’re going to do it and didn’t mean any ill will, for God’s sake stand by it.
I don’t think we’ll see anything like this, Jim seems to be cut from different cloth than Jason.

Looking for opinions on this scenario.
I have all the Conan Omnis from both Original Marvel Years and SSoC and they are all new in shrink.
I'm think of selling all of them, individually on eBay and rebuying the Titan versions as they come out.
Pros: -Judging by some of the eBay prices, I will definitely come out well ahead compared to what I paid for them at their original release date. - Upgrade some of the uglier covers as I believe Titan definitely has a better handle on it. - Overall quality of Titan books slightly better? - Eventually, possibly have both series under one banner
Cons: - May be missing some content? - rigorous time-consuming process of selling - No guarantee the runs will be completed (but as it stands now the Marvel SSoC run is not complete)
