I was skeptical at first. Dynamite is great at pretty covers, but I can’t think of a single comic that didn’t disappoint me once I looked inside. They have failed to do a lot of IPs justice over the years (Barbarella comes to mind!) But the interior artwork I’ve seen for this looks pretty darn good. Might have to give it a chance. Be cautious. With Dynamite the first issue interiors always look like a million bucks. But as the series continue the art declines with each issue. You can set your watch by it.

I expect this to be a 5/6 issue mini-series probably? In that case, not much time to decline. But I saw something similar, especially when they change artist mid-series.
But it still looks promising and they have a Frazetta movie poster variant for issue #1, so I'll get it.

Wrong, this is exactly the situation it happens. Thunda, Lord of the Jungle, Warlord of Mars, Peter Cannon, I could go on and on. I'm just hoping the new Gargoyles series art stays consistent. That's actually a great licensed book. Let's hope Fire and Ice is, too.

Dynamite Entertainment announces Fire and Ice: Teegra
Spinning out of the Fire and Ice comic book series at Dynamite Entertainment, the publisher turns the spotlight on Teegra in an all-new one-shot by Bill Willingham and Gabriele Di Caro. In the world of Fire and Ice, the threat of the frozen north and its evil leaders Juliana and her son Nekron is ever-present. King Jarol rules over the rival citadel of Firekeep, and he needs not only warriors and weapons to fight this battle and stave off the annihilation of his kingdom. In this age, nothing is quite as strategically powerful as betrothing your marriageable daughter to another ruler. Many kingdoms send their finest princes to compete for the attention and favor of the beautiful and headstrong Teegra. But what happens when the eligible princess is suddenly nowhere to be found? As a prelude to her fate in the film, fans will get to further see the adventurous side of this badass woman.

This series comes out so infrequently, I forget what happened in the last issue. The art is nice tho.
