The French/German public broadcasting service "Arte" has a series on the "origins of fantasy" and its fourth episode is on Robert E. Howard. It follows illustrator John Howe and in the video you can see him drawing scenes from "Beyond the Black River". They also visit Cross Plains and talk with Barry Windsor-Smith.
Sometimes they are a bit focussed on the old tale of "Howard = Conan" and the pychological approach on Howard but overall it's a really good episode and I'm surprised and happy to see them giving Howard half an hour on (inter)national TV in Europe!

That's cool, but I am grumbling inside that there are still idiots who psychoanalyze Howard today, despite the best efforts of gents like Mark Finna and Patrice Louinet et al.
