Even though I have these already, I’ll still be buying this book. It’s gonna be nice to have for my collection, and good sales will help to promote further Conan and Howard-related material. I’m looking forward to Scott Oden’s Shevatas novel, and I recall reading somewhere that there was interest in a short story anthology featuring various other Howard characters like Bran Mak Morn, El Borak, Cormac Mac Art and others. I think the anthology would absolutely rock! A Shevatas novel? First I've heard of it. I'm in!

It is going to be so nice to finally be able to read these. Lately I have been reading some of Hocking's unrelated short stories, and I have to say they have made me more eager to read this.

John C. Hocking, Conan in the City of the DeadDescription The long-awaited follow-up to Conan and the Emerald Lotus brings John C. Hocking back to the sagas of the Cimmerian. In Conan and the Emerald Lotus, the seeds of a deadly, addictive plant grant sorcerers immense power, but turn its users into inhuman killers. Hired to loot the city of its treasures, Conan and his fellows in the mercenary troop find themselves trapped in the depths of the city’s keep. To escape, they must defeat the creature, its plague-wracked undead followers, then face Lovecraftian horrors beyond mortal comprehension. NEW RELEASE DATE: 18 June 2024

Wow. That is quite the pushback! 7 months?! When I saw there was a new post here, I was thinking it would detail the upcoming release. A cover? Maybe even a production update.

Thanks Salant.
Cool cover, much better than the first one - and illustrated by Richard Pace, his work on SSOC looks great.
Looking forward to finally reading this.

I also really like that cover, and I'm glad that there will be interior illustrations.
