So I had some fun and asked ChatGPT to write a short story in the style of Robert E. Howard.
To my surprise the AI wrote a Solomon Kane story first. The story was extremely short and while the style was recognizable as a Howard pastiche the story made no sense.
I asked ChatGPT to write another Howard story. This time it wrote a Conan "story". It wasn't any better than the Kane story.
Maybe next time I'll ask it to write at least 10,000 words but I think I don't want to read that much crap written "in the style of Robert E. Howard".
After all I've read more than enough Lin Carter stories in my lifetime ;-)
