Supposedly, Milius was called in by Connery -- whom he worked with on The Wind and the Lion -- to rewrite Sean's dialogue in The Hunt for Red October. He definitely did some rewrites. At 3:15 in this interview from a couple of years ago, Tobe Hooper mentions that at one point he worked on a script for Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 with John Milius. That could have been pretty cool.
