FYI, CONAN: BATTLE OF THE BLACKSTONE #3 came out today. I enjoyed it. But it'll be interesting to hear what other fans think.

I love what Jim Zub has done so far.
But characters die, or seem to die too easily in these comics.
Probably started with Aaron's run at Marvel and Zub has continued the trend, I know characters are kinda eternal in the comic books, still, it don't feel right with Conan, or other REH characters.

I'm hoping that the resurrections , which I presume will take place in #4 make sense. I'd hate for us to have a continual cycle of characters dying and returning in Conan , it annoyed me when Fafnir returned in the original Marvel run after such a moving story when he died. Sadly we've come to expect this type of "storytelling" in the superhero genre.
