I remember people complaining about the digital coloring process Dark Horse used to modernize Conan the Barbarian Queen of the Black Coast, but man those original colors look real bad today. The digital coloring Dark Horse recently used in those stories is so much better.

Splashes of the Black Coast 3CTB 72 Thanks for the stroll down memory lane, Hun. For some reason, the splash above is one of my favorites from that era.

Every opinion in a forum like this is valid. I'm sure many people like the original colors.

Thanks for the great pics Hun.
Interesting to get a glimpse of Roy's creative take on Belit, in the Ballad piece.

Queen of the Black portfolio by Steve Fabian, 1976 Thanks, Hun. good poem by Fabian. -- more scanned poems please? I'll try my best Bux. Sorry. I should of stated on the post that the words are from REH. From the beginning of each chapter in 'Queen of the Black Coast' I recently posted 'The Sign of the Sickle' a REH poem at this page. swordsofreh.proboards.com/thread/52/warriors-steppe-movies-music-art?page=20

oh, i should have recognised it - something was nagging me about the title. But Fabian should have written 'by REHoward' on the poem. All posted poems should have the creators name clearly shown. [ we have had this problem several times on the old forum, and on this. even dear Painbrush misled us by accident - with the 'thong of thor' poem, years ago] -- Thanks very much
