Yeah...her new channel isn't doing so well. I think I saw one positive comment.
Here is a video that breaks down her twitter rant.
The sheer arrogance. Stereotyping and insulting a HUGE demographic of people that also represent an overwhelming percentage that buy comics and her comics. I'll never look in her general direction again and I presently regret laying eyes on her in the first place
And quite frankly, since she opened the door to stereotypes- out of all the people who should be writing sword and sorcery and anything related to Conan...I mean, come on. A morbidly obese, far-left, twitter-happy feminist? I mean, who the hell looked at that and said, "yeah, that fits." I'll take a chain-smoking greasy-haired basement dwelling dude over that any day.
I'm pissed now.

I quite like Red Sonja. I don't buy the silly cross-overs, and I didn't buy the recent story where Sonja was in modern day New York. But, much of the Sonja I've read has been quite good.
It doesn't always fit the Hyborian Age well, but many are damn fine fantasy or sword & sorcery tales.

I'm pissed now. I'd be skeptical of this guy in the video. He shows all these tweets that have nothing to do with the movie, nowhere does she blame any demographic for poor box office... The guy in the vid keeps SAYING that she's losing her mind b/c of the movie, but there's no actual evidence of that in the tweets that I saw. Dude seems like a hater who needs someone to be angry at/make videos about. |

It's obvious that's what it was about. That meltdown happened at the same exact time that the news broke out about Sonic destroying BoP at the box office and her Twitter rant fell in line with the rest of the tidal wave of SJW twitter rants on the topic. What else could it be? She just randomly decided on that particular morning to rapid-fire cliche'd, stereotyping, woke insults aimed at the same demographic that was blamed for dismissing BoP?
Did you actually read her posts? She's f'ing disgusting and shouldn't be anywhere near Conan or REH.

Eh, infer what you want... she has long attracted a certain type of insulting troll, and it seems like there's a pretty big leap between insulting that type of person and "blaming men and an entire demographic group".
It just seems like the guy in the video was extrapolating out something that's tenuous at best, all in a quest for more youtube rage clicks which earns money.
I'm naturally skeptical of youtube guys who do the rage-y clickbait headline thing; they have financial interest in making leaps and stoking anger. Don't let 'em kick your blood pressure up!
On another topic, I came into this thread hoping for some Red Sonja movie news... it appears Robert Rodriguez/Rose McGowan iteration is totally dead, anything else floating out there that gives hope to see her on the big screen?

His wasn't the only video or blog that reported on it and I tend to agree with whatever demographic you are naming as "insulting trolls" for getting on her case after all the degenerate woke garbage infiltrating comics that she has contributed to..and this is coming from a happily married father of three. And the guy didn't do anything but show EXACTLY what she posted. None of it was made up- she posted that drivel. Did you actually read her tweets? Did you see her reference to "white history month" or the insults at single men and traditional family values? You know, if I was a creator with a decent following, the last thing I would do would be to use my fame to go out there and start hurling insults at anybody, let alone targeting a demographic that happens to be a huge percentage that made her famous in the first place. Beyond arrogant. This is the same reason why so many people hate Hollywood and all those woke award shows. |
