I just realized that this volume will be a trade paperback. So, no hardback.
I have to agree with Dark Horse on this one.

I should also add that it's a shame because the quality of this volume is a lot better than what has been published over the last 5 years. I went to Forbidden Planet today and the Conan (Avenger) volumes have been sitting on the shelves for ages - that's both the TPB and Hardback editions. The only Conan Graphic novels that are actually selling are the SSOC phone book editions.

I bought the Conan Avengers while I was in New York. Those have actually been selling here at the very least.
The tragedy is again the quality is better in Avenger; the writing's top notch even if the art leaves a lot to be desired

The tragedy is again the quality is better in Avenger; the writing's top notch even if the art leaves a lot to be desired The sad thing is that comic shops are understandably cautious and have under-ordered copies of Conan the Slayer - they have been selling well. Still not enough to increase the sales though, comic shops will not take that risk now.

I was at one a little while ago. It still had Conan selling. Another one wasn't selling it all.
